Dear Diary,                                                                                                                                                         

Farther said that we were going into hiding we can only bring a few things with us. We can’t use suite cases because it would look suspicious. We are going to Fathers work place to hide there. There is a secret entrance hidden behind a book case. There is some other family the Vaan Dans that would be also hiding with us that I have never met before but dads has met Mr. Vaan Dan and Mrs. Daan Van and have a son named Peter he is 18 years old. Meip and Mr. Kraler will be bringing us food and other things that we need. There would not be a lot of food for all seven of us because of rationing and there will be little space for all of us. We have to stay real quite between 8am and 6pm because the workers will be working and we don’t want them to know that we are here. We cannot use the bathroom or talk or run around we have to stay quiet for a long time. I hope that we would not be there for a long time. I am going to miss all my friends.
